The Glorieta Fire Station, on a rural road near Glorieta, reflects local northern New Mexico design traditions: metal pitched roofs, earth tone colors and inset windows with divided lites.

As a volunteer station, the design is also practical with roofs angled to direct snow to the rear of the station, doors are oriented east for snowmelt on the apron and a tight plan to conserve space and maximize square footage.
